I have been fortunate to travel around the United States in its near entirety, but as Dorthy says, "There's no place like home!" I love Denver, Colorado. I love the Napa Valley in Northern California. I love Princeton, New Jersey. I LOVE Palm Beach, Florida. New York City, Chicago and San Francisco are nice cities, too. I've been to small town in Texas, Colorado and Arizona that were cool. Upland, Indiana is by far the most wonderful place that I have ever been. They do not call it "God's country" for nothing (and by "they" I mean my Dad and I). Yesterday I walked Addison, the giant schnauzer, all around town. I got friendly hellos and Addie got pats on her big head. I never once felt scared or nervous. I never looked behind me to see if someone was following me. I smiled at everyone who passed and they did the same (!!!). That really is a BIG deal. I love Upland because it is home to more than Taylor University, Avis' headquarters and Ivanhoe's; I love Upland because it is home to my parents. I love my parents. They have been there for me when no one else was. They do not judge me. They let me have my time in telling them what is going on. I always know that I'll have a bed there (even if I have to change my own sheets!). The fact that Macy and Ms. Madison live there isn't so bad either. ;) God bless my parents as I know that I've been blessed with them.

Knee

My knee really hurts. I am sick of it. I'd like to start a knee foundation to look for new ways to solve these knee issues I have.

No mini-marathon. Boo. Hiss. Boo.

I'm bummed. But I am certain there is a plan for me.

God provides. He is so good. And I am a little whinner who needs reminded of that sometimes.
