Jesus laughing

I just wanted to share a tidbit about how the God of our universe clearly has a sense of humor. Jackson and I were on our way home tonight from Susan's at around 10:30 pm. We had just dropped off some of our moving boxes and were headed home to bed. On Hoosier Road- a VERY developed area of Fishers- a deer ran out into the road. I was narrowly able to miss it. I then said, "we were sure being watched over!" I felt like Jackson kind of rolled his eyes so I called him on it. He told me that he thought God didn't orchestrate where deer were and who hit them or not. I told him that was a sad way to go through life; that I loved when close calls happened to me and I could praise Jesus that He has been faithful to me. Jackson told me it was not a sad way to live. As we turned onto 136th street- another very developed area of Fishers- ANOTHER DEER RAN OUT INTO THE ROAD! Jackson then said, "ok, Big Guy, I get it!" I guess God wasn't too busy to give us a second head's up after all! HA :) I loved it. I giggled with Jesus all the way home. I just thought I'd share how Jesus made me laugh today.
