Laundry day!

Every Saturday morning (unless we are out of town, of course) I gather laundry. (I do this many times a week, but Saturday mornings are a must!) And each Saturday morning MacKenzie excitedly plays with the baskets. (Yes, I do use a colored basket for colors and a white basket for whites- get over it!) I swear she thinks that they are toys that I save for her. See below.MacKenzie dropping her ball into the basket.

MacKenzie then looking around for her ball.MacKenzie switching her ball to the other basket. She's an equal opportunity dropper.
I don't know why this cracks me up, but it does. And in case you're wondering- yes, her ball has been accidentally laundered quite a few times! (Also, Jackson accidentally left his iPhone in his pants' pocket and it was washed today. We're praying for a miracle to bring his favorite toy back to life! So he will be unavailable via cell phone until further notice. I cannot imagine. Ugh.)

In other cute news, I woke up to an email of this photo from my Mom this morning with the subject: "Addie playing (?!) with Macy" and I just died laughing. Macy's face is priceless. She is so cute! Addie, the big lug, needs a haircut!!
We're off to run a few errands then fill out paperwork at the new job. Tomorrow we're heading to St. Mary's Glacier to hike. Yippee. :)

I never thought about using a white basket for whites and a colored basket for colors. You are just gifted with organizational skills!
