Denver, CO

Well we made it back safely, obviously. Whew. :)

International travel certainly changed while we were there thanks to the ol' Christmas Day bombing attempt in Detroit. I'm glad that idiot only managed to burn himself. We had to go through a TON of security check points to get on our plane in Paris. I do not mind, really. I just wanted to get home safely and I did. Thank you, airport security. :) The flight was long, but it is still pretty cool to wake up in Paris and go to bed in Denver.

Sunday we completely unpacked, ordered and hung photos from the trip and restocked our house with groceries. It was pretty bare in this place! We went to be early (like 3:30 pm) and slept until this morning.

So we obviously did pretty well getting rested up for today's return to the "real world." Things at my office are slow (for now...) so I only worked a half day. Jackson's external counterpart is on vacation so he gets to ease back in, too. That was a nice surprise. I expected to be swamped at work. Tonight we plan to get ready for the both of us to return to school. Sigh. We miss MacKenzie!

P.S. I uploaded all of our trip photos to Snapfish. You can click on that link to see them.

Great pictures. It looks like it was a little gray over there. So glad you had a great time.

Jenna, loved your pics! How long were you and Jackson there for? It seemed like you saw just about every major monument and landmark :) Thanks for sharing!
