Quick weekend!

We ended up with a busy weekend somehow. Friday evening we (read: Jackson) worked on the second floor's bathroom renovation (more on that in another post). It ended up sucking up a lot of time. Jackson seems to enjoy making a mess. I seem to enjoy cleaning it up. It works somehow.

Saturday morning we were kind of lazy before heading up to Marion to have lunch with my Dad and Diana.

In my Dad MacKenzie has found someone who never quits throwing the ball for her. They're ball soulmates. Jackson and I enjoyed the break from throwing that slobbery ball!! Thanks for hanging out, Dad and Diana!

From there we headed to Upland to meet my Mom and Guy's newest addition, Ella. She's a black miniature schnauzer and she is as sweet as can be.

On the way home from Upland we stopped in Gaston to deliver Sir Liam Mauck his little birthday presents.

We got him an Ivanhoe's gift card, hostess donuts, easy mac and candy. He seemed more than pleased!

We always enjoy the pure noise of a visit to the Mauck's house. Add in MacKenzie messing with their dog Bogey and it is insane. SO fun! 

Sunday morning I went to an early Pilates reformer class (the best) and then trip planned with Jackson for our upcoming trip to the Las Vegas area. We want to skip the strip for the most part so we have quite the awesome trip planned now. I'm excited. This is the trip we were supposed to take when my accident happened and derailed all of it.
