Sunday we were little bums. We got donuts in the morning since Naples has a real lack of such offerings. It turns out our favorite donut shop's new location is a bust. We didn't even finish our order. Bummer. The rest of the day we just kind of lounged around and took naps. We knew we had a busy week ahead so it was nice to have a slow day. Susie was kind enough to take us to Chuy's for dinner. Man that place is amazingly delicious. Thanks again, Susie!
Monday morning I was up bright and early (for me) to spend the day on campus. I'd not been to campus since December 11th (I had to look up when I'd last been there) so it was nice to be back and see my co-workers for a day! While I still chat with most folks on a weekly basis, it is nice to sometimes see their face and catch up on the latest gossip. You know, the important stuff! ;)

I love campus in the summer |
Naples, for being named for an Italian city, has a real lack of pizza so for dinner we went to Greek's in Fishers and it was awesome. My Indiana folks just don't realize how good the food is there (or how inexpensive the groceries are)!
We were able to get on the Porterfield's calendar so we went there in the evening for s'mores. Josslyn is such a little adult these days. We got to meet their newest foster kiddo quickly before he went to bed. Jax eventually got home from baseball practice and will seemingly be going to driver's ed this summer he is so mature. It was so nice to catch up with them before we had to head back home.

S'mores with the Porterfield family |
Tuesday I had a facial (important stuff!!), worked at Bill's on closing out some tax season issues and then met back up with Jackson to get dinner at Ale Emporium. The wings at Ale are basically a religious experience and on Tuesday on the patio they have live music. Dining on amazing wings with live music enjoying a nice evening? Sign me up! Important: they opened a second location in Fishers and it sucks. Please only go to the Castleton location.

Wings that will change your life. |
We went for a walk that evening and may have even sneaked a quick trip to Handel's for ice cream. WE GAINED 90 POUNDS EACH ON THIS TRIP. We wandered around downtown Fishers and even ran into our old neighbor. Good news: they don't like the new people as well as they liked us. It is good to be missed. ;)
Wednesday we both had to work, but we were able to meet with Kort, her mom and the boys on their way down the Children's Museum. The boys are a hoot and we were glad to get to see them for a few before they continued on with their exciting day!

Liam, Casers and Jackson |
We headed for the airport and Jackson caught his flight to Orlando. He had to work there on Thursday morning so it just made sense (and was cheaper) to fly him there the night before and just have him rent a car to drive home after work on Thursday. I waited a few hours and caught my flight back to Ft. Myers. I got my car and headed to Aunt Kathy's to get our sweet girl. It turns out she enjoyed Aunt Kathy's company quite a bit and wasn't all that excited to come home. Sure, that stung a bit.
