Colorado Springs to Denver

Keep it classy, Colorado

Headed up for a hike

Views

We've missed these CO landscapes

TREES!

A flat part of the trail

I could stay up here forever

Making my way up
I had to turn around shortly after this on the climb of Mt. Muscoco because it got too rocky for my bum knee to be able to handle. :( I headed back down to climb the easier Mt. Cutler trail.

(he found someone to take his photo!)

Gorgeous.

Made it to the top of Mt. Cutler.
(Jackson joined me!)
We left the Springs and headed for Denver. We made a stop in Parker to go to my favorite Chinese place on the planet Cherry Village.
A cup of wonton soup= HAPPY GIRL

Manna from Heaven
We stuffed ourselves with the most amazing Chinese food then decided to do another hike to work it off. We headed to an old favorite from when we lived there and hiked the Bluffs.

Love looking to the West

It was a good thing we hiked twice that day because we had big lunch plans AND plans for dinner with our dear friend Meg.
Jackson and Meg at Cherry Cricket
Another one of our favorite restaurants in Denver, Cherry Cricket, unfortunately had a fire last year and had been closed for a bit. Thankfully, they rebuilt the place and the food was just as good as ever. As was the company, of course.
