Jackson had to run into the eye doctor this morning to get a burst blood vessel looked at since his caring wife was worried about him. The doctor looked at him and said it was fine, but ugly. We'll take that. He was driving Susie's convertible so he put the top up to go inside. MacKenzie made herself comfy while he was gone. :)
Today was MacKenzie's first flight and I'm happy to report that she was the picture of perfection. She only cried for a second during take-off and then she slept. What a good pup! Jackson did have an issue with another passenger screaming about being allergic to dogs. The sad thing is MacKenzie doesn't shed or have dander so he cannot be allergic to her. What an idiot. Jackson had to sit at the back of the plane because the drama king was freaking out. The flight attendants gave Jackson a free cocktail for his troubles. If you know me (and by now you should) you know that Southwest is getting an email about that issue. We paid for both Jackson and MacKenzie to fly and Southwest has open seating so they should have been able to sit wherever they so desired. Ugh. Anyway, the important thing is that they made it!
MacKenzie and Jackson had to take a shuttle bus home since I had to work late and they're still not here yet. If I would have know that the shuttle would be so awful I would have gotten them myself. GRR! What happened to customer service?!Ok, I'll quit ranting now. I'm certainly looking forward to an evening with my little family all together again. :):):)
