Saturday niiiight

I had every single intention of today being a day of nothing. NOTHING. It did not happen. It never does. We did sleep in until nearly 9! YAY! Then we made homemade dog cookies for MacKenzie and some to send to Madison, Macy and even Addison. We also made a little package to send to MacKenzie's friend in Susie's neighborhood, Boomer. (Boomer sent a gift home with MacKenzie so we needed to repay the kindness!) I also made some K bars to take to our friend Meg's housewarming party. It is a good thing we left them there because they tasted pretty darned good! :) 

After that we cleaned the house. It doesn't take long at this place as there is not much to clean. I like that! Jackson got the last of the pictures hung and electronics hooked up. It feels so good to be completely settled in. We even organized our storage room in the parking garage. We were so productive! 

We went to Meg's party and met a lot of new people. She also had some good food there- always a plus! :) We ran some errands and did a little shopping before returning home to watch some football and eat dinner. Ah, I love sitting on the couch with Jackson watching football. There really isn't much better.

I have to work tomorrow so we're going to 9 o'clock church and thing I'll be grabbing the train to go downtown. It is quite the bummer, I know. Extra money never hurts, though so we'll take it! 

We're finally beginning to feel better but we are pretty far from being back at 100%. That darned H1N1 is nothing to mess with, folks.
