I think a few readers of my blog can assist me with my search for the best "tiny notebook" computer for my money *cough* Mike Helmick *cough*
I am between an HP 2133 Mini-Note PC and an Acer Aspire 1 laptop with Intel Atom Processor currently. I just need to be able to type in class and get on the internet (if the prof get boring...) without lugging a massive laptop around in my already weighed down bag. I would love a Mac but I don't want to spend that much money...
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! :) :)

I haven't ever owned/shopped for a non-mac laptop...
but having taking a quick look at those models, the Acer seems like a better deal, especially if you are looking for the sub-notebook form factor.
Before you buy - look into educational discount programs. The university might have them, or the manufacturers. At a minimum, you should be able to get Microsoft Office at a deep discount through your school's bookstore. (I remember doing lots of powerpoint and excel in the MBA program)
