UTAH!

Since I got the good news about being employed, we decided to take a trip that we have wanted to make since we got out to Colorado: a trip to Utah! I need to mark Utah off of my list because I was only there one time on a layover and cannot count states that I see on layovers. (Strict rules, huh?!) I could see that the state was gorgeous from the plane, though. The photo above is of Grand Junction, CO which is on our way to Utah. It is supposed to be a gorgeous part of Colorado that we have yet to see.
After a stop in Grand Junction we will be headed to Utah's Arches National Park. If you have ever seen a Utah license plate you will recognize this rock formation. Anyway, it is supposed to be a gorgeous part of this lovely country of ours so we'll be stopping in to take photos, hike and enjoy my last few days of freedom. ;)

From Moab, Utah (the home of Arches National Park) we will be heading to Salt Lake City. We are going to get a Brigham Young University t-shirt for my collection- I don't mind being confused for a Mormon as they're good people. We're going to do a tour of the Mormon Tabernacle. We're going to go float in the Great Salt Lake (a life long dream of mine!!). We hope to find a sailboat to take us on a spin around the lake. We're going to go see the IRS' headquarters in Ogden, Utah. (Leave me alone, I want to see it.) It should be a really fun time!

MacKenzie is able to go with us on this trip, too. We were able to secure cheap (need a cheap vacation? Utah is your ticket!) hotels that allow dogs to stay. Yay! No Camp Bow Wow!

We'll be leaving early tomorrow morning and returning on Sunday evening. I start work Monday at 9. Let the good times roll!

The Osmonds live in Provo. I think that may be close to Ogden.
Have fun and be safe.

I love you!!
