Lots of work

The Westfield house used to have a real door here, to the laundry room, instead of a swinging door. I thought it was terribly inconvenient to have to open a door when you're doing laundry. I had Jackson put in a swinging door and it looks great. It has since been painted to match the other door. I guess Susie was against the idea at first but finally came around to saying it was pretty darn nice. Thank you. :)
We do not have the morning dew on the grass here in Colorado. Jackson had forgotten how messy MacKenzie gets after her early morning walks. She's a mess!
Susie power washed the deck and Jackson stained it. It looks 1,000,000 times better than it used to for sure! Good job, guys! You're both awesome! MacKenzie used it as a spot to take a little break. I sure miss that little dog.
Jackson took a photo of MacKenzie's protest against her nightly pee without a walk first. It seems in the few short days that she has been at Grammy's she has already gotten spoiled. :)
The Westfield house had a showing today to a friend of the neighbor who wants to get a bigger place. I guess it went really well and they liked it. It would be great to be able to sell the place without a realtor so please pray that it will work out. We still plan on Jackson meeting with the realtor on September 1st when he's home picking up MacKenzie. There should be a sign in the yard by Labor day! That's also moving weekend for us. Whew. I signed the lease to our new place today. LOVE it!
Jackson is on his way to Lawrence, KS to sleep for the night. Lawrence is the home of the University of Kansas. Rock chalk Jayhawk! I hope he'll pick me up a new KU t-shirt for the upcoming football and basketball games. We hope to see KU play the University of Colorado-Boulder sometime this year. He should get there around 9 central time. Please pray for his safety in all of this traveling.
