We must enjoy moving...

We are going to be moving into this place over Labor day weekend. YAY! It was a gorgeous place. The rent is $225 cheaper than what we pay now and utilities are included. It was a tremendous deal really. We do not have to make an additional deposit for MacKenzie and she doesn't have to come up with $30 a month to pay her "pet rent." ;) (She was terrible about paying me on time!!) The kitchen was so pretty. It has black granite, dark wooden cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There are hard wood floor throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room. The fireplace has a cutout spot to run t.v. wires through so Jackson can mount his t.v. again. Awesome! We're going to get a daybed with a trundle to put in the den (my office) so that people can still come and stay with us. (We're now taking reservations for after September 15th. Book today!) We will be selling my car at the beginning of September since this place is within .25 miles of the light rail station. I have only 7:40 classes next semester so I can go to work, ride the train home, have dinner and then drive to class without traffic. Jackson will be without his car for about 3 hours twice a week, but that is not all bad. We'll have an underground parking spot with controlled access. They provide shopping carts to take your groceries up to your condo! I thought that was hilarious. In front of our parking spot is a storage unit so I will get to keep some of my holiday decor. Jackson will store golf clubs down there, too. (Thank goodness! I wasn't looking forward to clubs in my closet!)

We are really excited for the new place. Hopefully we'll have better neighbors. Chances are we will as the building is almost completely empty still. It could not have been built at a worse time in the housing market! That's good for us, though! Hip, hip HOORAY for exciting news.

We're off to see "The Ugly Truth" and possibly go to the driving range. We're enjoying each other before Jackson is gone for a whole week! :(

P.S. Today is the one year anniversary of the Petefish family moving to Colorado!
