Road warriors

Jackson knows how much I love photos of MacKenzie so he sent me pictures all along his drive from Denver to Indianapolis. MacKenzie has become quite the traveler this summer and staying in hotels no longer phases her. She just tucks right in and gets comfortable. :)
When we took her to puppy kindergarten a few years ago the instructor, Bruce, assured us all that dogs do not seek comfort. He was WRONG. MacKenzie climbed to the top of the pile in Jackson's FJ Cruiser to lay on top of a mattress pad that we are giving to Susie. She is too funny. She most certainly seeks comfort, Bruce!!
Jackson is a really fun dad and took MacKenzie to McDonald's for a hamburger and some ball playing. She wore herself out and slept for a lot of the drive from St. Louis to Indianapolis I hear. They arrived safely this evening and got right to work over at the Westfield house. Susie has been over there helping us for the last few weeks and it has been awesome. Thank you so much, Susie! We owe you big time!

The trailer arrangement that Guy set up for Jackson worked out wonderfully, too. Jackson is excited to go to Upland tomorrow to have lunch from Ivanhoe's with my Mom. I'm just a tad jealous that he gets to see Mom, Madison and Macy- all of my favorite M's in one place! We are truly blessed with incredible families and friends who have supported us through this wild ride that we call life! 

I had a final tonight that went seemingly well. I hate to say until grades are posted. Tomorrow's final is sure to be much worse. I am just ready to be finished with school for the quarter. This whole going to work for 8 hours, studying and taking finals things is giving me a headache and wearing me out. I look forward to my movie date with Meg on Friday. We'll be seeing "The Time Traveler's Wife" and I cannot wait! :)
