An update...
I have been informed by one of my readers (ok, probably my ONLY reader) that it is not polite to not blog regularly. Sorry.
I just returned from a trip to Southern California. It was a really nice time. I got to see the taping of a Jay Leno episode with Cindy McCain as a guest. At least she's a republican. I can't say much more for the lady so I'll move on. The rest of my trip was spent catching up with Meggles. We always seem to spend large lengths of time with each other when we do hang out. A drive to and from Palm Beach, anyone? (Shannon's make the hike, too. What a trooper!)
Anyway, Meg's car was broken so we pretty much walked everywhere. I think it was good for me to go to a mini fat camp! I got a great tan and caught up on some much needed rest.
Back to reality now; work is as busy as ever for some reason. I feel like I am going a million miles an hour at all time, but it helps the days to go quickly. It is Friday tomorrow...yay!
Jackson got a Wii today for his birthday. Before you wonder, NO I did not buy this for him. His mother did. Thanks, Susie. Spoil him even more! ;) We're looking forward to long nights of my kicking his butt in bowling, tennis and boxing. Go me. :)
I saw Michael Conley at the mall tonight. He used to play for Jackson's high school, Lawrence North, then went on the The Ohio State University before he headed for the NBA. He's now on Memphis' team. I got all giddy, but decided to let him shop in peace. Boo.
I'm very happy to be home. I love home. I missed MacKenzie! She's so perfect.
Well I think Jackson has the Wii ready to go so I'd better go kick his rear.
