Jackson runs the Mini!

Jackson ran the Mini again this year. I intended to, but then the accident happened and my knee was crap and I'm lucky to be walking soo I roped Susie into cheering him on at the finish line with me. 

We were fortunate to get to eat breakfast while Jackson ran. Seems fair?!

Mother's Day dinner

We took a break then had Susie over for an early Mother's Day dinner. It was excellent! I always get a bit nervous when she's coming by so I clean quite a bit before her visits. This time Jackson (tired as he was from the race) pitched in to help clean up his office area. Love it!

The happenings...

Since I'll be working from home now, we had to redo the office a bit. I showed Jackson some bookshelves that I liked online and he built them for me! I was so impressed!!

Somehow my little love, Ms. Jocelin Porterfield, has reached four years of age! I'm not sure where the time went!

We spent the rest of the evening making manicotti dinners for me to take to some dear friends with a new little one. Jackson always makes me look good as I think to take someone something and he is the one who actually makes it most of the time. #Winning

I had the craziest, busiest Saturday and it was so much fun. First, I hit Reforming Indy for a Pilates class (per doctor's orders) which really stretched me out and felt SO good. Then, I met my dear friend Amber for brunch at Brunchies in Carmel. It was really good and reasonably priced, check it out!

Kortnee's husband needed to be in the field planting (he's a farmer, you know) so I stepped in for him and hit the Pacers playoff game with the family. It was so fun and exhausting all at once.

Jackson made his first lasagna for all of our baby-having friends. It was pretty darn good! We then spent an entire Saturday delivering the goods (plus some stuff I'd baked) and then finished with an evening in Upland visiting the puppy, Emmie.

I could not decide on a car to replace my totaled Volvo so we got Jackson a new car instead. (Insert comments about how unfair life is here. HA!)

We also got the chance to catch one of Grace's lacross games when she played in Zionsville. The team has gotten much better!!! She is just so cute, too!

New fireplace!

We are almost finished with our renovations list thanks to this project's completion. The fireplace was refaced and it looks awesome. We used the same tile on it as we did for the back-splash in the kitchen and it looks awesome! Thanks to our friend Jason Mitchell for his work on the install.
