Heidi spiced things up around "our" (Susie's) place this week. She was still getting used to her diet food and worked up quite a thirst. Trying to keep water around for the two dogs proved to be a difficult task. They ran around so much that they drank a ton! They also barked at each other quite often so we joked that they needed to drink more from all that noise-making. In typical Indiana fashion, we had snow on the ground and a sunny, 50 degree day yesterday. That meant that when we got home from work we took the girls on a 3 mile walk. MacKenzie is used to such lengths. Heidi? Not so much. She was absolutely exhausted when we got home. She's down well over a pound, though, and she has a new pep in her step!

"Finally. That 90 mile walk ended!"- Heidi |
MacKenzie also showed Heidi her favorite begging spots. The one below is where MacK sits each morning while I get ready and eat my breakfast in the bathroom. (I'm quite the multi-tasker when it means I can grab a few more minutes of sleep!)

"This is how it is done, Heidi!" |
It was a lot different to have two dogs to care for, but we had a good week. Heidi is a good girl and I see why Milan loves her so much. You're welcome back anything, Heidi. (I don't think she'll take us up on that offer when she thinks about running stairs, jogging, diet food, no table scraps, carrots as treats and long, brisk walks- ha!)

Turning on her charm. I love this photo of Heidi! |
