November.

We had a busy month with work and other commitments. We enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather in Indiana which was LOVELY.

Note: our flags are cursed. We took Colts down and they started winning. We put
Hoosiers up and they started losing. WAH!

LOVING LIFE FOR THAT
Jackson had to be in Bloomington for work and managed to score last minute tickets to an IU game. Lucky man!
GO HOOSIERS!
LOVE THE SPIRIT!
We were able to stop and visit Heidi's booth at a local craft fair. She was the most talented vendor there and I was not able to leave empty-handed. I have appointed myself as her marketing manager because I am so passionate about her signs and talent.

The nativity sign is a gift. Joy to the World is for my office. LOVE IT.
Our dear family friends (and employer) Bill and Liz Trinkle's daughter Karen got married in Indianapolis and we were fortunate enough to attend. I had the most handsome date there, too! Lucky me.
My handsome wedding date
Karen, who is like a little sister to me, was an absolutely stunning bride. I was so happy to be able to witness her special day.

Bill gave the best speech that had us all both laughing and crying.
The sweetest speech.
We woke up on Sunday morning to some excitement in the neighborhood. It turns out that someone down the road had some illegal weapons and wouldn't answer the door when police came. That's a big mistake. The knocked out windows and let themselves in with assault weapons. WHOA.
Excitement on the mean streets of Fishers
November is also the month of MacKenzie's birth. She had a great day filled with treats and lots of love.

One of my dear friends from college who now lives back in Indy is having another baby so she had a little party to celebrate the newest addition. This meant shopping for a small gift. Baby gift shopping with Jackson is always a treat.
"How does it look, babe?"
Before I headed to the baby shower we took MacKenzie for a quick game of ball. She just loves to play.
Joy is written all over their faces
Heidi accompanied me to the baby shower and we had a great time catching up with all the girls in attendance. I love my college friends for the fun memories we share and the ability to pick right up where we left off!

Jackson left the next morning for a business trip to Denver. Neither of us had been back since we moved in 2010 so he was excited for a mountain view again.
A view of the Rockies
All was well until a huge snowstorm hit and his Monday evening flight was canceled. Boo.
The view from his hotel the next day was a little whiter
He made it home on Tuesday afternoon just in time to have our next mattress delivered. Hooray times 2! He didn't get a break from the snow long as that very weekend we got our own dusting.

Life in a snow globe!
The snow made us hungry so we had a date night to my favorite Italian joint in Indy. Our meals were delicious as always and I had the most handsome date in all of the place!
Mama Carolla's date
We've had a great month and look forward to a trip to Naples for Thanksgiving very soon.
