Since we are going to be in Florida for Christmas this year, I wanted to decorate early so that I could enjoy a good month of my decor before heading South. This was what the foyer looked like when we finished
bringing up my Christmas tubs from the basement. I felt a little overwhelmed at first, but it went quickly and it is always so fun decorate to the sounds of the season.
We went to Menard's to get some more wreaths for the outside of the house and found a Christmas tree that we loved so we got it.
Please note that our tree makes 5'10"
ish Jackson look like a midget. It is about 10 feet tall. Yep. We were "those people." Jackson loved the fact that 5 people had to help us shove this tree into his Jeep.
I mean it kind of fits, right?! HA! We must have looked so funny driving home from the store, but so be it. With such a monster tree we had to get it home somehow!
After a couple of hours of work we had the tree up, lit and decorated. It looks gorgeous! I love Christmas! Also, let it be known that Jackson
Petefish actually said to me, "I think we might need more Christmas decor!" I almost fell over. He always talks stuff about my Christmas collection of goods. I just wanted to have that in writing. HA! :)
