Funny pup

I got these photos of Madison celebrating the big 1-0. Please notice her "bandage" on her leg.

"Madison" also sent me this email:

I wanted to send out a few pictures of my 10th birthday party! Thank you for all the birthday wishes and cards. My mom & dad got me a cake, some new balls (my favorite game) and several new bone treats. What a great day I've had. As you all know I had a life changing injury when I was only 7 weeks old. I still have to wear a cast but I know I've been so blessed. I know there are a lot of dogs out there that have it much worse off than me. So again thank you all for all your well wishes and prayers over my first ten years, and I'm ready for ten more great years! I love you all. Grace Madison Duckwall

Now the reason that this makes me laugh SO hard and shake my head at Guy is that when Madison was 7 weeks old I was taking her outside. It was a gusty winter's day and the wind caught the door and it shut on her BACK leg. She was OK and nothing was broken, but Guy has never let me forget it. Imagine my surprise when this emails comes through showing Madison wearing a "bandage" on the leg that was never hurt. What a nerd he is. I laughed and laughed. I had a terrible day and this was a welcome stress reliever. Thanks, Madison. ;)
