Here and there, this and that

Over the last month or so things have been moving along at rapid speed and I've not been blogging. I shall do a quick crash-blog to catch up with all of the photos on my iPhone. Enjoy. ;)

One evening...no idea when...we stopped at Heidi and Andrew's to help them plan out the paver patio that Heidi has been dreaming of for some time now.

First, the saddest video:

Josslyn loves her Nini and Papa (me, too, great people!) and cried like a...well baby...when they left that evening after swinging in for a few minutes. Poor little girl!
Gunner looking adorable!
Gunner and I aren't into planning such things so we hung out and got bitten by mosquitos. ;) (I still love you, Heidi!)
Jax, who was supposed to be sleeping, supervising from above
We played with the kids until they had to go to bed and then got to work. I think Heidi will have a great patio once she decides on a layout and laborer-HA! :)
"THIS WAY!!!"
Not sure when I took this photo either, but MacKenzie looked adorable sitting on my center console. :)

The trail at the Fort
One weekend we drove over to Ft. Ben for a 4+ mile training hike. It was a gorgeous day and we really must get over there more often.
A practical joke? A cinnamon themed feast at my big meeting?!
I had a huge meeting at work last week and I was mildly nervous about it. There were going to be about 50 people there so I put catering in charge and focused on the content of the meeting. Big mistake. I walk in and there is nothing but CINNAMON. EVERYWHERE. IN EVERYTHING. CINNAMON. THE ENTIRE ROOM SMELLED OF CINNAMON. I thought for sure the meeting was doomed but alas the folks of Muncie love cinnamon (sickos) and all was well. Success!

Quit. The. Cuteness.
The other day MacKenzie made herself a nest on my side of the bed while I was getting ready for work. It was all that I could do not to climb back in with her myself.
"Home, Jeeves!"
MacKenzie got to go on a 7 mile walk with my friend Amber and me the other day. By the end she was ready to go home even if that meant driving herself!
