We snuck down to Bloomington to hang out for the weekend. We didn't have the best weather (lots of rain), but we did make the most of our time when it was clear.

Jackson on IU's campus |

Petefishes on campus |
We took our bikes down and rode from the condo to campus. Bloomington has an awesome trail called the "B-line Trail" that leads all over the place. We jumped off and rode through downtown to get to campus and explored for a bit. The students were not back yet so it was fun to be pretty much the only people around.

Comfy puppy |
MacKenzie got to come along, too. She enjoyed exploring campus with us on Sunday morning. We went by the new football stadium and basketball practice facility. We didn't see any of our favorite athletes or coaches, though. :(

Jackson blowing up his board |
Not expecting to be rained out, we rented standup paddleboards from Ball State's rental center. I was fine with not getting to go out on Lake Monroe due to rain, but Jackson was not.

UP! For a moment... |
He insisted on going to Lake Saxony near our house. It is basically a rentention pond with a beach built on it. His attempt was not a success. At all.

MacKenzie and I watched from the shore |

Jackson did a lot of falling and finally gave up |
I do not think the blow-up boards are the best. Watching Jackson fall 60 times was, however. :) HA! It was a fun weekend. Thanks again to Uncle Charlie and Aunt Jill for letting us crash at the Bloomington condo.
