After heckling the golfers unfortunate enough to play the hole we overlook, we worked up a thirst for coffee. We drove down to the Historic 3rd Street District and got some excellent beverages at Bad Ass Coffee Co. which is actually a chain out of Hawaii. Jackson was so impressed because their iced coffee's ice cubes were made of frozen coffee. Clever little devils! We sat outside of the coffee shop for quite awhile watching the people walk by and chuckling at a group of old men bantering back and forth with one another. Once we'd had our fill of hanging out we walked down to the Naples Pier. Imagine our delight when we got to the end of the pier just in time to see two dolphins swimming below us! It was so cool!

I think we watched the dolphins for 30 minutes before we finally hit the beach to take our morning walk. We put in six miles before heading to Tropical Smoothie (my favorite!!) for lunch. We stopped in at a Wal-Mart (on a Sunday afternoon not realizing it was Sunday afternoon because we are in vacation mode!) and fought the masses to buy me deodrant, a toothbrush and sunscreen because I did the worst packing job ever. (It is just so embarrassing that I no longer pack well for myself.) We stopped in at the condo long enough to watch the HOOSIERS beat Michigan at Assembly Hall. Love it!
Jackson, Susie and I threw on our swimsuits and headed to the beach for the rest of the afternoon.

Jackson going out for a swim |
Jackson still gets in the ocean knowing that there are sharks close to shore. No worries, he's got life insurance. ;) He made it out alive...this time.
The Super Bowl kind of snuck up on us so we had to do some quick grocery shopping to be able to have a yummy spread during the game complete with turkey nachos and shrimp cocktail. Imagine my absolute delight at the game itself. My Seahawks came out ready to dominate AND Peyton Manning (my least favorite player) had probably the worst game of his life. The HOOSIERS beat Michigan and the Seahawks beat the Broncos- it was a great sports day!!
Yes, Tim Tebow's commercials during the game made my heart happy. I love when people can make fun of themselves! :) Jackson's favorite commercial was the Doberman & Chihuahua Audi ad which was hilarious. I had two favorites both of which we Budweiser ads (I know. That annoys me, too. They just have the best advertisement teams behind them!). The Clidesdale puppy love and the Hero's Welcome both made me tear up. The halftime show was quite good and I really couldn't have asked for a more wonderful game! :)
