We had a busy week! Tuesday night we went to the Pacers vs. Lakers game. The Pacers won and we had a great time. We had dinner at my favorite Turkish joint before the game and just enjoyed the date night.

Collared shirts under a "vintage" jersey...too cool |
Wednesday wasn't the greatest as Jackson got into a fender bender with an uninsured motorist downtown. Bummer :( The damage isn't too terrible and he wasn't hurt so all is well. The damage came in at around $2,000 and the repairs will be done soon. We're hoping he gets to get a long-term rental from work so that he doesn't have to put so many miles and...dings...on his car.

The passenger door no longer opens... |
Thursday evening I had an exercise class with Amber and we were able to squeeze in a quick walk before we froze. Friday's weather was even better and MacKenzie got to play ball outside for the first time in ages!
I had such a long week that I decided on Thursday to take Friday off. Jackson kindly booked me an appointment at the Spa at the Conrad (my favorite place) so we slept in, grabbed a lunch downtown and then he went to his office and I went to the spa. I had a lovely afternoon there and then met up with Jackson to do a little shopping before heading North for a basketball game in Marion.

Giants warming up... |
We enjoyed the last game of our season ticket package as it was senior night and those are always fun. The Giants won and we're exciting to cheer for the team's star, James Blackmon Jr., when he is a HOOSIER next year. We made a quick stop in Upland to drop off some state fair worthy chocolate chip cookies to my folks before coming back home for the night. It was a great day and I enjoyed not being in my office or talking to anyone about taxes. :)
The weather was so lovely today that we took MacKenzie for a LONG walk outside. It was great. We spent the majority of the evening at my second office. I had a ton of tax returns to prep and Jackson helped me out by organizing documents and taking care of the dogs. MacKenzie got to come over to play with Bill's (my 2nd boss) dog, Toby, as Bill was at a wedding in Kentucky today. Jackson also ran to the grocery store because he's a brave soul. We're as ready for this snowstorm as we'll ever be. I'm so over this winter...
