Gush, gush

We got the news last week that one of my dearest family friends is battling cancer. Jackie Duggan (my best friend Shannon's mom), who hosted my Upland bridal shower and has just been an awesome role model in my life, is totally going to kick cancer's butt. We wanted to take them some food to cut down on one worry of the first week of chemo. Jackson made homemade manicotti, pasta salad and cut cantaloupe. We had extra helpings left so we ran those to the Porterfield's house. We delivered food around 10 p.m. on Sunday night. I don't know that I'd ever loved Jackson more. He's a champ when it comes to cancer care.

Other than that tough news, things have been slow around here. I've got quite a few cute photos of MacKenzie to share, though.
Comfy.
"I like ice cream!"
"YUM!"
We took MacKenzie with us to Handle's on the evening that we paid off our private loan. Hooray! Debt free! :) The kid behind the counter made her a little cone of her own for free. It was so sweet and she loved it.

She's such a cute dog. I know you all just love seeing every single shot I snap of her. You're welcome. ;)
