We really didn't get any of the predicted bad weather with Hurricane Earl. As you can see from the photos, we got a lot of thick fog. It rained a little bit. That was all. It was a real let down. (Don't you love Jackson's setup with the lawn chair in the living room with the t.v. plugged into hijacked cable? Classy.)
This all happened on Friday night. We took a 4 mile walk around the city and saw hardly anyone. The weather people had scared everyone. It was kind of awesome. We got to see things that are usually really crowded with tourists. It was so fun to explore our new city!
