PwC

Jackson had to leave for Chicago this afternoon before I got home from my first day of work. I came home to a gorgeous bouquet of flowers with a sweet little note. What a sweet husband!!

I survived my first day back to work in a huge corporation. It is so funny how when you have your first day somewhere small, you start working basically right away. I feel like I will be working on their training and internal procedures for the next year or so before I really begin working. I'm only slightly exaggerating. It is incredible how many things they want you to do, know, sign up for, etc. I'll manage. It seems like it is going to be an awesome job. I think I will be really busy in the future so for now I will enjoy the down time that comes with being in training. I met a lot of nice people and look forward to working with such a diverse group. There were people from all over the world either starting work today or just spending a year in the U.S. office from another PwC location. I'm excited to be one of the traveling workers one day. How fun would that be?! You get to keep the same job and just work in a different country. Wild.

It was a good day and I feel quite blessed to have gotten this position. I really enjoyed my walk to and from work. It is a nice way to prepare yourself for the day and then to unwind. I now have a whole evening to myself without Jackson or MacKenzie. I'm already bored and I've been home for a grand total of 20 minutes. It is a good thing that I have training in Atlanta on Wednesday and Thursday or I'd really be hurting. I miss Jackson already!
