Petefish puppy-sitting

MacKenzie was the only dog for a couple of days. She used that time to catch up on some sleep and cause a little trouble.

She found a chipmunk and decided to do some hunting. It wasn't exactly successful. Oops. :)

Someone come play with me

I worked from home on Friday and MacKenzie sat the front door all day waiting for someone to come and play ball with her. It was equal parts cute and sad. Ha!

Our friends Shaya and Matt went away for the weekend so we kept their pup, Fiona.

We took them both for walks and Fiona wasn't quite ready for such long walks and dragged behind quite a bit. Poor thing. She has short little legs as she's just a long-haired Dachshund.

Fiona really likes to eat toys so she had a great time with some of MacKenzie's old toys that we let her destroy. MacKenzie wasn't quite so sure about that decision, though. Oops. :)

Fiona's parents picked her up this afternoon and MacKenzie has been sleeping ever since. We've promised her that we don't have any additional plan for puppy-sitting in the near future. ;)
