Editor's note: this should have posted on 2/9/16.
We slept in and Jackson wanted to document how I took up the whole bed and wouldn't get out of bed in paradise. Whatever. Vacation. I did finally get up and we went to breakfast in the hotel. I love their breakfast and slow, leisurely breakfasts on vacation are one of my favorite things.

After a big breakfast we decided to go for a serious walk on the beach.

Seriously gorgeous. |
4 miles later we returned to the hotel warm and a little tired. We changed into our suits and alternated between the beach and the pool for a few hours.

We eventually got cleaned up and headed to Old San Juan to explore before the sun went down. It was HOT. I kept joking that we'd picked to walk on the surface of the sun. I loved it, though.

Old Town San Juan! |
We found a self-guided tour online and followed it all around so that we did not miss anything.

We left downtown after walking for another 5 miles and headed for the hotel. We were not feeling adventurous for dinner since we were so tired from a busy day so we ate at the little restaurant on the beach at the hotel. It could not have been a prettier night to sit by the water and enjoy each other. It was another great day!
