We were supposed to run a 10K on Saturday morning but decided that running in the mud instead of the snow was not appealing so we slept in and then went to the gym. From there we headed to Plainfield to meet my dear friend Jenny's newest addition, Gabe. We brought over some cookies to the gang and they made us lunch. It was awesome.

We did not get to play with August much, but we did get some major snuggles in with Gabe.

Jenny kindly gave Jackson a fancy bag of coffee and he was so excited to try it out the next morning. I am happy to report that it was delicious.

Jackson has been excitedly planning our trip to New Zealand and Australia. His first big purchase was his new backpack. We didn't think we wanted to be rolling bags through two (maybe 3) countries on the 3 week trip. He wore his backpack all around the house for like an hour. Dork. :)
