Our stateroom. Good old 4550.
I got a new iPad mini (thanks, Mom and Guy!) for Christmas and downloaded a ton of games to help me pass the time spent trapped on the boat. We are now obsessed with a shark attack game that I happened upon. I don't want to think about how much time we spent today, each on our respective iPads, playing the shark game. The game surely won't make it easier for me to want to snorkel. ;)
We have enjoyed getting our room cleaned all of the time. (I had to take the photo of our towel animals because that seems to be cruising code.) I haven't enjoyed the constant crowds on the ship. I'm not sure how people find cruising to be relaxing. Those people must like people more than I do. ;):)
We did sit outside today and I fell asleep in the sun. Some of the ship's decks were closed due to the high winds. It was certainly breezy, but warm. People were out in bikinis; they're insane. It was not swimsuit weather today.
I attempted a yoga class this morning but it was too crowded and made me nauseous so I peeled out early. So far we've not had seasickness issues and I didn't want that to change!
We've enjoyed the food so far and have tried not to gorge! This evening we are going to a Christmas show and then a midnight candlelight service. We were really happy that there was a church service available as we didn't really expect that.
We've met some nice people from all around the country and world. It is fascinating to hear people's life stories. That's my favorite part so far.
