IU vs. FAU

IU had a Friday night game that we decided would be a fun one to attend. Our friend Kortnee came along and we scalped tickets outside of Assembly Hall. Kort felt really bad because we could only find two tickets together and Jackson was going to have to sit alone (again. Like at the Colts game. Whoops!), but I knew better. Jackson wanted to be a single so that he could get a better seat. HE DID! Kort and I were in row 20 and Jackson got row 5 mid court! Typical. ;)


Our view. It was still a fun time but I missed the atmosphere students bring (they were on winter break).


We could see our friend Derrik from our seats. He also had better seats than we did. Sigh. :)


Kort was very pleased that Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp were also in attendance. The woman seated next to us was friends with a lady seating near John and Meg and said they were drunk. It made us laugh. A lot. We also got a good laugh from the grandpa behind us singing a song to his little granddaughter that went something like this, "sloppy time. Sloppy time. S-l-o-p-p-y sloppy
time!" (It was the end of the game when the "scrubs" come in the game because IU was so far ahead.)


We got Derrik an Indiana Basketball hat for Christmas so that he could match Jackson. Aren't they just adorable?! ;)
