Last day at sea

Saturday was our last full day on the ship. We got into some really rough seas and both felt pretty lousy despite having on seasickness patches, wristbands and taking pills. Ugh!


This photo doesn't do it justice. The waves were at 14-18 feet all day.


It was still sunny, though, so we spent as much time out in the open air as we could before they closed all of the decks due to wind.


I caught up on a ton of reading and kind of enjoyed having a lazy day with Jackson. We did get to watch the sunset from the hot tub on the top deck. It was gorgeous and a fun way to take it in.


We called it a night early and thought we were missed getting a towel animal. Then I found him...


a little mouse! How cute. Jackson claims that I woke him up at 4 am to ask when we could get off the ship. I don't recall but I guess I was excited. We had a quick breakfast on the ship this morning and then got back on American soil. There's no country like our country!
